Angie's Story
Well, I got married too young the first time, and to someone too old the second time. Now I am living single, finally!!
I went back to college after my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. So, at the age of 35, I went to Allen College and graduated from their X-ray program. Then I went to U of I for a yea...Expand for more
r and graduated from the Radiation Therapy program.
Now I get to treat cancer patients everyday with a linear accelerator. Wow, physics at my age - it was brutal. My classmates, the "kids" would tease me about not falling and breaking a hip, cuz' I'd never be the same.
I love my job and my life at this age!
