Angie's Story
Life
I can mostly be found on face -- book
All about being the chameleon, I now work at Universal Studios and do some art department stuff. Kind of related right?
School
Now why is this section different from College? School all melds together. I have tried to block out most of high school. (not the friends, just the social awkwardness). I'm not shy any more, nor do I think I'm ugly... but other aspects of my high school experience continue-- love of reading, writing and art in particular.
College
I've decided that life is about learning and have spent the past few years rejuvenating my mind by taking classes. I have a degree in something else (isn't that always the case) but I've found the community college system in So Cal so inexpensive and convenient that I can pretty much learn anything I want. (except for an easy class on engineering diagrams, much to my chagrine while filing my patent). College is fun, but it...Expand for more
's wasted on us when we're young. Better to go when you can understand that it means nothing to the real world, it makes classes more enjoyable. (doctors, post docs and engineers not included :)
Workplace
I gave up working a real job in 1995 after recovering from a coma in 1994. Angie Horlander and Susan Rotter were instrumental in saving my life and I want to thank them. (not sure if I did before). It was a pivotal point for me and changed my life in many ways. The greatest was a desire to avoid Corporate America at all costs. Working in the film biz has been a dream come true and I'm looking forward to whatever comes next.
For those of you who knew me in high school/college, I spent a lot of that time either depressed, manic or tense (or drunk) and I'm happy to report that I've made great strides in just becoming the best Anj that I can be. (And no, I'm not in a cult) Being in a good frame of mind is all that matters.
