Tammie's Story

Life Hello! After graduation I married and moved to So. Cal., then spent the next couple of years moving from Orange County to North San Diego County, then to Africa, Indonesia, did a bit of travelling and studies in Australia and England. After divorce (#2) I returned to the Desert, (Palm Springs area) and have built a wonderful business as a therapeutic massage therapist. I have one child, a son named Joseph aka Joey. He just turned 17, what can I say...he's a teenager. He is an outstanding skateboarder and although he doesn't skate as much as he used to I am totally amazed at the tricks he flips. I'm not soccer mom, I'm "Skater Mom." I'm the one that gets the team and friends together and spending 18 smelly hours driving them to all the awesome and famous skate spots in So. Cal. It's a blast and I get to meet some of the radical Pro-Skaters and Am-Skaters. I love my life, I love my son and wish I was...Expand for more
finished with remodeling my home. One day... The adventure of my life continues. That which doesn't kill you (ex-husbands and foreign infliction) makes you stronger! Overseas adventure has pretty much come to a grinding halt since I bought and am renovating a house. So, now we have roots and I am limited to memories and ocassional trips out of "death valley" in the summer. I am back to hiking and am thinking to take up snow shoeing this summer up in the mountains. Sounds kind of cold, but it will be a new adventure for me. I prefer heat and humidity to snow and have always believed that snow is for Christmas cards. Looks as though I may be changing my long held beliefs in this area. We'll see... I would love to hear from my classmates. It's just amazing how much we grow and change and continue our journey as wonderful human beings. Life is good! All is as it should be.
