Anita's Story
Life
Hey. Remember the rebellious hippies sitting on the floor in jeans and a black artists' cap? Right. Paul Haines and Anita Bandenieks. I was the one petitioning the school to let girls where pants at school during winter! I was so distracted by dope I barely graduated and did not attend graduation. But I did go off to art college and pursued a career in that and child therapy.
I sold life insurance, raced cars, owned a 356C 1963 Porsche, Rolls Royce, Cadillacs and Bentleys, drove in a Carmen Ghia from Toronto to Vancouver, trecked Europe 5 or 6 times, wrote 3 books and had one published, taught art in Peel County and as far away as Sandy Lake Indian Reserve, drove taxi downtown Toronto, drove truck, partied till I almost d...Expand for more
ied, got "saved", ended up having a successful daycare in Brampton, then married at 31 to my soul mate and am living in cottage country near Huntsville, Ontario now. We have three kids of our own and are very proud of each of them because none of them were rebellious like me! THank God! We now run a kennel, (see ww.muskokapaws.com) and are thinking of retiring somewhere warm like the Azores, Portugal (who isn't?).
