Anita's Story
Life
Since high school I have moved all over the country (NJ, NY, NM, CA, WY, and CO) and have enjoyed many different jobs and relationships. I was married for a very short time during my early 20's and divorced. I have now been married for 20 years to Shawn Overgaard (MCHS class of 1994), who I actually reconnected with here on Classmates. We have been living in Northern Colorado for the past 19 years now and loving it! I don't think we'll move from this area for quite some time (I hope). We had our first child in August 2009, a boy Matthew, and in March 2012 we welcomed our princess Annika. They both have enriched our lives immensely and we love watching them grow and develop their unique personalities.
School
Had some great and, of course, some not so great memories of my school days, who didn't? Just happy I made it out alive! It's amazing that how many things I thought were so important back then are not important today in my life. I often think about people I went to school with and hopefully they will all sign...Expand for more

College
Graduated from Regis University with bachelors in Forensic Psychology and a bachelors in Computer Information Systems in Spring 2005. Returned to graduate school in Fall 2006 at Regis University. I was working towards a Masters in Computer Information Technology with a dual emphasis in Database Technologies and System Engineering, after a brief pause while the kids grew I finally returned to finish my studies. I graduated in March 2019 with a Masters degree in Database Technologies and a minor in Cyber Security.
Workplace
I am currently working at a state government agency as a SharePoint and Applications Developer as well as the Web Administrator. I have been in my current employment for almost five years now. Prior to that I did stints in higher education, K-12 education, oil and gas, telecommunications, medical, airlines, and dabbled in several other industries.
