Ann Armstrong's Story

Life I attended Central High School in Phenix City, AL. I married Jim Adams a graduate of Jordan High School in Columbus, GA. I am retired from our family business Edgewood Printing Service in Columbus,GA. I have a daughter, son and 2 granddaughters and 1 great-grandson. My daughter Cindy and her husband Tony Pitt live in Columbus, GA. Their daughter Sheri lives in Jacksonville, FL. My son Mark lives in Alpharetta, GA. His daughter Brooke and her son Anthony are now living with her Mother in Phenix City, AL. We moved from Columbus to Atlanta, GA and lived there for 10 years. My husband was with IBM and was transferred to Washington DC....from there we moved to Silver Springs, MD...Manassas, VA...in 1971...Expand for more
we decided to move back to Columbus and open our own business. Since then I have socialized often with classmates. My class of 1955 celebrated our 50th Class Reunion in 2005 at the Estate in Columbus. Since retirement we have been blessed with good health and enjoy traveling and the freedom of doing whatever we choose. Jim and I celebrated our 51st Wedding Anniversay on June 7, 2008. Jim's good health ended in May of 2008 when he was diagnosed with cancer. He passed away August 22, 2008. I am left with a big void but life goes on....if any of you read this - remember me in your thoughts and prayers. If you are one of my classmates I haven't heard from in a long time...I would enjoy hearing from you.
