Ann's Story
Never say never. I said I'd never be a journalist and never move north. Well, I spent 14 wonderful years in the newspaper business; 9 years as a reporter for a daily paper, then one year as a managing editor, and four years as a general manager and advertising director for a northern Wisconsin paper. Then it was on to a couple of other ventures, and then a two-year stint as a grant writer for a technical college. --I've always loved writing and always dreamed of being a writer. y years. About a year or so ago, I started drawing again after 29 years of not drawing. That's been fun to rediscover. Photography has been a passion of mine, too.
I've been unlucky at love and find myself single (and okay with it). I have two wonderful boys (now young men), from a good man to whom I was married to for 11 years. Life's been tough, but it's still good. I'm learning more and more everyday about myself, people, and my purpose in life.
