Ann's Story
Life
After graduation I spent one year at Georgian Court College with Rita Baker, neither one of us could stand living with nuns at an all girls school so we transfered to Rutgers, I went to Cook and Rita went to Douglass. I went 2 years at Cook and left to pursue a job at Merrill Lynch. In August of 1988 I attended a wedding and got re-acquainted with my now husband Paul, our parents were friends but we never really knew one another. We were engaged in 9 months but waited almost 2.5 years to get married so that Paul could go back to school full-time to get his degree from Rutgers. During that time I get a job working in Marlboro at a company called Handex, I wound up working there for almost 20 years. In March of 1993 our first child Kelly Ann was born, she came into the world 4.5 weeks early but she was a perfectly healthy baby who is presently 5'6" and a typical 14 year old who is entering high school this August...Expand for more
. In September of 1994 at only 6 months pregnant my 2nd child decided to be impatient, I wound up hospitalized for a month and he also came a month early. Christopher is now 12.5 and is going into 8th grade, he is ahead for his age but he is unbelievably smart, and will enter high school next year with 4 high school credits.
In June of 2006, my husband who had been working at Nissan in the NE region, got a job offer at the new corporate location of Nissan in Brentwood TN, so on August 1st of 2006 we moved into our new home. We are just a 1/2 hour from Nashville and the family has adjusted well. We have been back to NJ a few times already and always look forward to having people visit us down here.
I keep in touch with only a few people (Adrienne Daffner, Rita Baker, Lana Larocca, Heidi and Gina Schubert and a few others) but would love to hear from those I have heard from in years, so feel free to get in touch.
