I can't seem to graduate from school! I'm an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication at the University of Utah. There I teach people how to use communication to be better teachers and I write about how communication helps, or hurts, education.

en I was in a long term committed relationship, but not any more. Hoping there isn't a pattern there.
No kids of my own but my siblings have given me 7 incredible nieces and nephews whom I cherish.
I get to Albuquerque to see my family about once a year, sometimes twice.
