Ann's Story

Hi Class of 1968, I wonder if you remember my boy friend was in the Navy well has been my Captain for 40 years. I married the yr after graduation when Ron came back from Viet Nam after serving on the USS Enterprise we married Father Rubey married us at Little Flower Church in 1969 and lived in Virgina Beach where he was stationed state side. In 1970 he was discharged and we came back to Chicago. In 1972 I give birth to my son Dan 37 now married to Tracy living in Hobart Indiana with our two grdsons Billy 7 & Ryan 4. Dan has been with the CSX railroad for many years. In 1977 I gave birth to our daughter 33 Carrie married to Aaron living in Braidwood Illinois with our only grd daughter Morgan 6 & our other grd son Mason 7 mos. ng some time off to be with Mason. I lived in St.Rita's parish for about 10 yrs, then we moved to Oak Forest in 1985. I had the honor to stay at home and raise the kids now a days a couple almost have to work due to the fact every thing is so expensive. Ron did work for Union Carbide/Viskase for 28 yrs when the plant close he went to work for St.Sym's in Chicago and be ready to retire in 3 yrs. The only person I have been close to all these years is Maryann Baden once in awhile I would run into people who went to Little Flower but did not keep in touch. Oh, I forgot I hooked up Jacki Eberly Lee Class of 1967 last year she is living in on the West Coast in Ca. I would love to hear from people who remember me.
