Ann's Story
Life
Hi everyone (or anyone),
I hope the years have been good to all! The years have been good to me. Since graduation have had many extraordinary experiences (some good/some bad) that have brought me to a happy life today. I graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Outdoor Recreation. Went back to school at UNC to get my teaching certificate after working for the Forest Service. I married a wonderful man (Bob Rebarchik) in 1988 and have two great boys (ages 7 and 13).
After living in Ft. Collins for a year after marriage, I moved to SW Oklahoma where I taught 7th & 8th grade science for 3 years. My mom died suddenly of cancer in 94, when I was pregnant with my 1st. Afte...Expand for more
r my first son, we moved to bush Alaska along the Yukon river for 6 years. While in Alaska I learned many native crafts (beading, caribou hair tufting, birch basket making), was a DJ at the local radio station for 5 years, learned to be a "hunter and gatherer" (so to speak), and even tried dog sled racing. I loved Alaska, but after my second son was born, we decided to move closer to family and are now in Montana.
We enjoy living in the small community of Frenchtown (just NW of Missoula) and we get to make it back to Colorado off and on. My biggest adventure since being back in the lower 48 (besides parenting) is trying triathalons. I hope to see many "old" friends in the future. Take care.
