Ann's Story
Life
I am semi retired and work 7-8 weeks a year as a post mistress in a one person post office. My husband of 30 years and I spend a lot of time travelling around the States visiting Swap Meets for Antique Out Board Motors.
We also spent a lot of our time at our country cottage in western Quebec just north of Ottawa when not on the road or at home in Ottawa Ont.
My favourite trip of the year is our annual trip to Florida to extend our summer months. Sometimes stopping in Fort Lauderdale to visit my brother Pet...Expand for more
er. But spending most of our time in the Gulf of Mexico enjoying the 85 degree water temperature. A perfect day down there is spent playing 18 holes and then back to the motel for cocktails, a swim and then supper.
As I get older I like winter less and less as I hate the cold and putting on boots and coats and mitts irritate me.
I am now paying the price for all the hours I spent in the gym at Dunton. I have had 2 knee replacements and one hip replacement. Too bad we didn't know about warming up in those days.
