School
After 1963 graduation from OHS, I went to Worcester State College, graduating in 1967. I taught in Oxford two years, then got a job with the Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS). I'm presently living in Seoul, Republic of Korea, just starting my second year here. Previously I was in Frankfurt, Germany (13 years), Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (1 year), Colon, Panama (1 year), Illesheim, Germany (7 years).
I left DoDDS for a while in the '80's and lived in Texas, near Dallas, but I preferred teaching overseas so that I could travel. I have been to 58 countries. In the past year I've been to Mongolia and Australia. I hope to visit Vietnam at Christmas break.

lish to Bulgarian kids in a small town in the Rhodope Mountains of south central Bulgaria. It was a great experience!
I want to stay in South Korea until it's time to retire. It's a good school and from here I can travel more on the Pacific side of the world. I get a trip back to the states every year as part of my benefits. I haven't been to Massachusetts much in the last few years; I need to go there next summer.
Workplace
Most of my work has been outside the United States. I've taught for the Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS)in Frankfurt,Germany; Cristobal, Panama, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; Illesheim, Germany;and am now in Seoul, Korea. Also took a couple of years off to volunteer in the Peace Corps. I spent two years in a small town in Bulgaria. I travel a lot in my free time and love it.
