Ann's Story

Life I have been in California for the past thirty-two years. I have been with my significant other Jim for thirty-one of those years. We lived in Santa Cruz for several years then went to Seattle Washington for about eight years and then back to California. I have a housecleaning service that I run and it has been a satisfying thing for me to do. I enjoy the appreciation I get from my customers and some even say I am better than a psychiatrist for them! Jim and I had two children. Our oldest child passed away on February 14, 2004 of a drug overdose from prescription medications. He was diagnosed as bi-polar and prescribed many different kinds of medications until he bacame an abuser. PLEASE think twice if your children are offered medications for ADHD or BI-POLAR as it can be very dangerous for them....Expand for more
It adds to their problems. It is a loss no one want to go through believe me. My youngest son, now almost 19 is doing good and has a full time job and getting his college online with the University of Phoenix Online. He is going for his AA and Bachelors at the same time in Business Management. Jim and my goal is to travel in our RV for a time to see parts of the country we never have gotten to. He is a retired Tree Surgeon. We do get to Twin Falls every so often as I still have my sister Eva and brother John in the area and my parents are buried in Twin Falls and I still visit them when I am there. Twin Falls has grown so much and I miss the trees on Blue Lakes Blvd. as I used to live out there on the canyon as a child. Twin Falls is still a great place to live and I miss it sometimes.
