Ann's Story
Even though I didnt graduate from Von, I have great memories of the times in and around the school. Does anyone remember the "food Factory" along the river there? or the field house behind the school? The tastee freeze on foster? Any way, after working low paying jobs I finally decided to get it together and get a GED . I went on to college and received my Associates degree as a Registered Nurse and then a Bachelors degress in Business administration. I am now Director of Nursing at Residential Center for Adolescents in Rockford. I have been married for too long to count the years. are time I love to garden, decorate my house, go camping and boating, hang out and drink with my friends. I like to watch football only when the packers are playing. I like going to Florida and travel often to Daytona Beach espescially during Bike Week. ( thats because my son shows his bike down there lol ) I only Like to drink beer out of ice cold bottles no cans! I like to hang out with my sister ( Phyllis). I get a real kick out of 4-wheeling and own a Jeep that is so much fun. " Got Mud ? " I also hope to accomplish one more thing before I get too old and that is to ride my son's Ninja ZX14 ( that by the way isnt going to well ) .
