Ann's Story
Hi y'all.
I went to college for one semester and then dropped out to get married and have a baby. I moved to Florida with my husband in 1966. He was in the Navy and stationed in Jacksonville, FL. That is the same year my son was born. I was divorced in 1977. I did not start work until 1971 since then I have been a number of things but most of the time I was a construction accountant. When I realized I kept losing my job as projects were finished I got into banking. I have been working for banks since 1987 in the mortgage industry. Needless to say my last year has not been very good! But hopefully things will turn around soon.
I remarried my second huband in 1985 but that only lasted 4 years. Seems he married me for a green card! During this time of my life I was very involved with car racing. Both the 2nd husband and my son raced. The second husband died in a racing accident. My son eventually gave it up when he bought a house.

Mom and Dad work since he was 2 months old.I never thought I would enjoy this but he has become a real joy in my life. Just brightens my day and after not working now for 12 months that is a good thing!
I own a standard bred race horse with my boyfriend. She had been harness racing at Pompano Park but we retired her due to arthritis in her feet. Her name is Allamerican Fancy. This past January she had a baby.
So we have a few years to decide if we keep him and train him to race or if we sell him. Depends on my work situation. We are hoping to keep him but time will tell. So if you bet on harness races keep an eye out for No Foreign Exchange in 2 years.
My health is pretty good. I do have two replacement knees. They are 3 years old. I had a party for them!
They have made life a lot easier for me. At our last reunion Peter Illardi and his wife talked to me at great length about having them done. I want to thank them as well as Bob Linardo. It was all their information and Bob's anestisia knowledge that got me to have them done. Thanks you guys my life is 100% better!
