Ann Buntz:  

Attended (graduated)'59-'63 Defiance College. Taught 2nd grade at Anthony Wayne School in Defiance for a couple years. Married a career Army Officer '65, and moved to Germany. Back to the States, had son '68. Lived in NJ,AZ,- had daughter'72 - NJ(again),GA, and finally VA in '78. Began teaching ESL in '75. Worked at G'town Univ. 10 years mostly issuing student visas. (Ask me about immigration issues!!!) Have also had brief stints working in an advertising agency & as Ex. Sec't for Leica Microsystems; also as an assistant for an art consultant in Washington.(That was a very interesting job!) Have made brief forays into self-employment being a professional organizer. (Loved it but the Granddaughters came along). Divorced in'85, but remained in Va. Tried living back in the "old home place" on Hopkins St.'94-'99 & enjoyed it immensely, but the lure of city life was too strong and job opportunities in Defiance were too few,so I moved back to VA in '99. Have lived in high rise apts. for more than 20 years. Right now am just 3 miles out of Washingto...Expand for more
