Anna's Story
I married Dave Drewniak of R.I. in 1986 and have two gorgeous daughters: Ashley & Stephanie. I'm a Registered Dental Hygienist specializing in Periodontal Therapy, and I love what I do. Being a parent of two girls had taught me: what goes around, comes around. The toughest job I've ever had, yet the most rewarding. I've also learned we must all pick our battles and not sweat the small stuff.
I front a Rock band called the Northeast Groove playing classic rock, funk, and blues. I'm addicted to performing and playing at venues ranging from Autumnfest in Woonsocket, RI to the Atrium Lounge at Foxwoods to FatBoy Bills Blues Lounge in Milford Mass. Thinking back to High School, some of my fondest memories are with my friends like Hope, AnnMarie, Chris, Harry and a bunch more (especially the North Street buds). I still enjoy cheerleading but I'm now a spectator. ...Expand for more
My daughter Stephi does Elite-all stars which is extreme sport where if your not strong and a gymnast - you don't stand a chance / a hell of a lot different from the cheerleading I did in high school!!! I hope people remember me as being a little bit of a comedian and fun to be with. I look back at my yearbook picture and say: "eeek, what a geek". I wish I could redo my pics. Don't we all at some point wish you could take a quick trip back - change a few things according to what we know now!!
I still visit Bellingham often. My mom lives in town and I belong to Power House Gym. I occasionally run into people from school but wish I saw more - I also wish I had the recollection of names that Peggy Rice has -man, at the reunion she remembered everyone.
Till I see more of my classmates, I hope all is well with everyone; and you have all reached your dreams and goals. Come out and see me and say hello where ever my band plays...
