Life
Hey, well, lemme see the last sum odd years is quite a blur! So much, well, I am probley the longest running student at UAF; majoring first in French, then Foreign Languages, then settling in on a BFA in Fine Arts [thanks to Mrs. Sharma for bumping me up Senior Year from Beg. Drawing to A.P. Art in 2 weeks!; w/o her I would never have become an artist today!}. Focussing on Painting, Drawing, & Computer Art Graphics, along with adding marketing & business classes and years of real life app. has built a huge portfolio of design and promotions. Getting thru a degree has not taken me the usual timeline as others do, but a great journey through life, as I just keep getting distracted for years at a time! Life, kids, work, divorce, yah know the usual suspects!
I have two great kids, Josh & Micaiah, from a 5 yr. marriage, one more kiddo [10 yrs. younger than my first boy] who is the best lil guy, Jesse Ackerman. his father Paul and I had dated each other off and on sinc...Expand for more
e a year after Lathrop. Sadly he passed away in 2012, he is greatly missed.
I've worked in promotions on some pretty big names in entertainment, I also ran a rock and metal nightclub, as well as a production company that first started on projects with my dear friend Roxanne from school. [ all the way back from Joy school!]
Now I freelance design, production, graphics, marketing and creating visual identity & branding for all kinds of businesses.
Life's bumpy, but good, I get to hang out on occasion with rockstars on my promos [ Megadeth, Drowning Pool, Adema, Godsmack, WWE's John Cena & the Divas, DJ Nigel Richards, The Crystal Method, etc..}
that make me totally, [really] forget my age! Never let this big "5" "0" impending for all us make you forget to have fun!
I can't believe my youngest is now in high school! My middle daughter just graduated from college, and my oldest son is across the country working...
