Anna's Story

Wow, Since I left high school, I have had quite a busy life. I was in a car accident that stopped me in my tracks and made life somewhat miserable, but then I decided to not let it keep me down and enrolled in The Toronto School Of Business. I took Computer Sciences and Business Administration. Upon my graduating in 1987, I opened my own Limousine Company. Oh wait, I forgot to mention I got married to a fella named David Hewitt in Peterborough Ontario. I was married a mere 1 year and 19 days when my Husband decided to try and use me as his punching bag, I clocked him a good one and the next day I left. There was only one other time a guy tried to hurt me physically and I stuffed him in his locker in Junior High. In 1995 I was in a traumatic accident with my Limousine and had to get out of the business. My injuries were too severe and not having anyone in my life that I trusted enough to run my business I ended up selling off my cars and my client list. I have had numerous surgical interventions since then and about to undergo a few more procedures this summer. I am now very happy and about to have my first book published and taking my own show to the stage. I have created my own spin on Poetry, I call it "Theatrical Poetry". You can learn more on my website at canadianwildrose2007dot com. I now have a dog and a cat, my dog is an American Eskimo named Kai and my cat is a Russian Blue the real deal and her name is Cloey. Kai and I spend many hours down by the lake on our off time just watching the water with it's very small white caps. I have learned all about cars and motors and did everything from drive, repair, rebuild, show and race. I would have to say I have lived a pretty good life and done all I wanted except to have children. Due to my vast injuries I was advised to not have children as it would cause tremendous problems for me and I would be bed ridden. My significant other is a musician that plays in a few bands, one of which is Tyranny Of Love with Nik Beat and Linda Mercer and the other is Aaron Amadeus, both from the Toronto area. John has been playing music since he was 5 years old and I have a feeling he will go to his grave with his bass in his hands. He also holds down a real job now for the past 25 years, working for A& P Canada and makes a very good living. In the summer we are found floating in our cruiser on Georgian Bay, weather permitting. ...Expand for more
When the weather is bad, we stay at the Marina listening to the Coast Guard reports and sit around listening to music or watching DVD's. Not much to do when the weather is bad. We enjoy watching the wild life and breathing the fresh air especially after a big storm. I like this story idea...Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect. You can say this again....I thought I would end up married, pregnant and barefoot like my Mom always told me I would be. I did go to college, did start my own career and started and ran my own company which was very successful. My Dad was a mechanic and quite abit of him rubbed off on me in the automotive area. I restored, worked on, showed and beefed up many of my own cars from my Classic 1972 Mustang, my 1984 Chevy Stepside short box with a 350 4bbl, Edelbrock intake and carb. Hooker Ceramic headers that expanded out to 3 inch pipes. You could hear this puppy long before you seen him. He was painted a standard Chevy Red with Corvett rims and nice wrangler rubber. Before that truck I had a 1987 Black on black IROC Z and she was bad to the bone. This one was a mere automatic with line-lock, I purchased it with line-lock installed, I much prefer a 5 on the floor as you get the max out of every gear or you have the option to power shift if needed. My preferance is Ford, as I was MustangSally for many years, I guess I always will be MustangSally in some ways. I just moved into a new a apartment on this past weekend, but once I am all settled in I will post a few toys from my past. John is happy that I am now retired and slowing down, the only fast driving I do these days is heading up the 400 to Georgian Bay, if John comments on my driving in a negative way like, don't you think you are too close to the car in front of you?...I go faster, this usually lets him know he has spoken out of turn, I am the one driving and he is the passenger. I don't tell him how to be a passenger and with 53 driving awards, I don't need him telling me how to drive. His big thing is he drives a fork lift for a living, when he takes it to a track or runs it up the 400 hundred let me know...LOL I love him dearly but he is a musician in my eyes and has a real job to back him up. There are a few folks I am looking for on here, Rita Hanswell and Ronnie Skelton. I lost track of Rita around 1979/1980 which was a bit of a blurr for me and Ronnie around 1979.
