Anne's Story
Life
Buck and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary on March 22, 2005! We have two grown children. Mike and his wife Gretchen live in Omaha with their daughter Analiese, son Brady (born April, 2006)and 2 beagles, Sammy Sosa and Lizzy Lou. Mike is a VP with Wells Fargo Bank and Gretchen shares a teaching position, allowing her to be home several days a week with Analiese and Brady. Needless to say, we love spoiling our grandchildren! Good thing Omaha is only 2 hours away! Our daughter Karen lives in Tallahassee,Florida, with her husband, Paul (Geletko) and is employed by Florida State University in the medical department as an epidem...Expand for more
iologist. Right now she is involved in research in the areas of bioterrorism, disaster preparedness, and women's health. She may be asked to teach a class or two in the future. Karen and Paul were married at St. John's Episcopal Church in Tallahassee on June 2, 2007. Buck and I are enjoying retirement. I still volunteer at the school I taught at (for 18 years) one day a week and I do a little tutoring in our home. Buck continues to run his concrete business, which allows us to travel during the winter months. We are really enjoying this point in our lives. I do try to get back to the Quad Cities where I still have family and friends.
