Anne's Story
Since LMCO Shared Services relocated to Lakeland, Florida, the job market has been tough. You don't really appreciate what you have, until it is gone. I have had several unchallenging, underpaying, absurd commute jobs. However, it seems that my exensive experience has finallly paid off. I have just been offered a job working at DOE, for an onsite contracter. I can't be more excited. The salary is wonderful, and the commute is only 15 minutes from my house. I still miss all of my friends from Lockheed, those who have moved with SS to Lakeland, those who have moved to different buisiness units, and those who have moved on to other companies. I have never had a more challenging, rewarding, sometimes frustrating, job that really made me feel as though I was an unexpendable team mate. Though no one is irreplacable, I still always felt like we were family at work with one goal in common. To do the best anyone has ever done, and do it even better. To make a difference.
