Anne's Story
Life
I grew up in Flushing & Whitestone. I belonged to ST. Luke's teen club in Whitestone, where I became friends with a group of great people. After F.H.S. I went to work as a bookkeeper/clerk. Joe & I married in 1979, then in 1982 he was transfered to Fla. (he works for the U.S. Customs Ser.) We lived in Tampa, We had our 1st son, Joseph in 1984 & then our 2nd, Michael in 1986, that's the year I decided being home with the boys was more important than working outside the home. ter Elizabeth in 1988. In 1992, we were transfered to Miami,(but we live in Ft. Lauderdale) where we have been since. Joe retired in 2008 & went back to work for Homeland Security. I work part-time in retail, customer service. The kids are grown, Joseph is a Marine Vet & now a Coconut Creek Police Officer. Michael graduates from UCF in Criminal Justice & applying with the Feds. Elizabeth is still finding herself (sound familiar?) lol & working in the bakery at our supermarket. I hope to connect with old friends.
