Anne's Story
Life
I met my husband while I was in So.California visiting my sister Rose. He was three things I swore I would never allow myself to fall for in a man: *Younger than me *Divorced * A Single Parent... So much for Rules.
25 years later and still together Married 20 years.
We have 2 sons:
Our oldest -30 yrs. old who's terrific!! Being a Step mom has proven to be a really positive experience.
We also have a 13r.old son Kane,together who is just wonderful and now the Mom experience is proving to be a lot of fun as well.
We live in Southern California, near my younger sister Rose and her family. For those classmates that knew my mom and dad, Sam and Mary,mom just turned 90 years old this year...Expand for more
. Dad, Sammy to most of you who knew him passed away in August of 2009, he too was 90. We miss him each and every day.
Although, even after 25 years, Vacaville still feels like,"home". It's hard to explain, maybe you have to be born and raised somewhere and then leave in order to appreciate the little things, I really don't know, but somewhere along the way I finally realized that Vacaville held, "special memories". I do miss them and visiting this website is like 'coming home'.
Reading the bio's in Classmates makes those memories come flooding back and being away isn't so bad. So, thanks to all who write and give us all a chance to remember and reflect and also bring us up to date.
