Anne's Story
I have been extremely busy over the last 36 years, raising a family. I was blessed with 2 awesome boys, whom are adults now and I am very proud of. I realized after their father's death I had to provide for my children, so I became a Registered Nurse. After many years of working for the Department of Corrections as I nurse, I returned to school too obtain my Bachelors Degree, in which I completed in 2007. With the motivation, to continue to achieve, I enrolled in the Masters program and I graduated in May 2009. Wondering what I am going to do with this education after so many years? I have decided to go to South Dakota and work on an Indian Reservation. I have, since the 80's been riding a motorcycle (yes a Harley) until I started to ag...Expand for more
e and needed a comfort ride, so I downgraded to a Honda or upgraded (depending who you ask or which part of my body you ask. I have visited the reservation before and fell in love with the west. This is not a mid life crisis, I have done a lot of things, like skydiving, swimming, raising Sharpe puppies with my son and I am currently taking care of my mother, and I still visit my best friend Linda Dooley every few months. So I have decided that it is time for me to do what I want( I do believe I have earned it. So I plan on taking my basset/labador mix dog (just imagine) and head out west to live in the Black Hills on my motorcycle. I am greatful for all the friends and people I have met over the years and I will never forget any of them.
