Annemarie's Story
Life
I met my husband in 1993 and we dated for a long time. We finally married in 1998, here in San Diego. We've been married for 10 years now. We have a 3yr old son, and hope to expand our family in the near future. We have a home in Fletcher Hills. And, we have an old, fat cat......
My husband introduced me to rec. softball when we me and I've been hooked ever since. At any given time of the year, you can expect me at the ball field at least once a week. I also picked up the game of golf, although after having my son, I haven't been able to play much. I plan on hitting the fairways soon, when I have more free time.
I enjoy watching Major League Baseball, especially the Padres. We try to catch games at Petco Park as often as possible. Watching the Chargers is another favorite, although I...Expand for more
'd rather NOT be at the game. I also enjoy watching golf, especially Phil Mickelson.
I have a lot of fun with my son nowadays and am taking advantage of the time we have right now. 2 yr olds are a lot of work, and a lot of fun!
Workplace
I worked from age 16 p/t and then f/t after grad at a fish company, for a total of 4 years, going from office clerk to data entry supervisor. Then I landed a job at a CPA firm in Mission Valley as a data entry clerk. I worked there for 15 years, spending the last 12 years as office manager. After working p/t after maternity leave, I made a personal decision to stop working altogether and become a homemaker. My future employment goals are to rejoin the workforce in a similar financial/accounting field after my son (& any future children) are in school full time.
