The center I'm associated with is loving and does not stand in judgment; we are there to wrap arms around those who need an embrace and to provide for physical needs or compassion in a variety of ways to hurting girls, women and families in the greater Gaston County area.
-Greatly enjoy going to concerts, especially with my sister as she is about the only person who is unaffected by my uninhibited enjoyment of the music. Our most recent concert was this August to see Darius Rucker in Charlotte (August 2009). Rascal Flatts performed as well and did a great job. Yet, it was for Mr. Rucker we were there to sing and dance with! Thanks again to the special individual who made it all happen.

---> UPdate <--- Enjoyed a generously long concert by Mr. Darius Rucker last night (May 26, 2010) on the Redneck Yacht thanks to WSOC. He sang for over 1 1/2 hours and graciously greeted fans afterwards. From "Hold My Hand," "Let Her Cry," History in the Making," and "Learn to Live," it was first class Carolina singing!
-Manilow Memories: Sang w/Mr. Manilow at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA on April 19, 2002; Christine, my younger sister and I have made numerous memories over the years at some of his concerts, including his Vegas show. And yes, somehow, someway, we even once were invited to "crash" an after party in Nashville, TN at the close of the concert. That is way too long of a strory to finish here.
