Annette's Story

My husband Morris and I have lived on the Monterey Peninsula since 1987. I manage a plastic surgery office in Monterey and Morris has been retired for the past few years. We have two sons - both married, and 5 grandchildren from ages 6 down to 5 weeks. Our oldest son, Andy, is an art professor/artist at Cal State Fullerton and lives in Long Beach. n Carmel Valley and lives next door. Our first grandson battled leukemia for 3-1/2 years with daily oral chemotherapy and monthly IV chemo and spinal taps. He has been off treatment since December 2009 and is now 6-1/2 years old. That has been the biggest challenge we have faced. Our favorite place for R&R is Kauai and we try to get there at least once a year. All my best - Annette
