College Well, I attended Dominican University of California (formerly Dominican College), and graduated in May 1995 with a B.A. in Psychology. I had a very great learning experience, meeting many people & making new friends! Workplace In 2002, I've been doing short-term, contract jobs assisting different offices in various industries. It was unfortunate that none of them became something more permanent. Then, I got this really cool position as a T-H (the try before you buy deal) as office administration support... Administrative Assistant at one of the biggest construction companies, Swinerton. After working many hours on contract, I changed over to employee status!! Woohoo! I'm currently with the Swinerton Management and Consulting, Inc. family. I love my job! I was told that there's a career path down the road, and I get to pick! Looks like I found a great place to work afterall! Will keep you all posted!...Update: The SF Business Times conducted a survey about the Best Places to Work in the SF Bay Area, and Swinerton was ranked as #2 on the list! How about that? Well, late 2004 wasn't a good financial year for the management group in the SF office, so there was a little down-sizing. As a result of the company re-structuring, I lost my job and got laid off...This year in 2005, I'm currently doing contracting work while looking for something more permanent...Wherever I end up working, I hope my next position will be as enjoyable as my experience at SMC! Update (Nov. 2005): I've just started a new job (T-P), working at one of Swinerton's competitors, Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction Company as their Plan Room Coordinator! So far, all's well!
