Annie's Story
I've led an interesting, if not sometimes hard, life since leaving La Grange. I've grown up a lot since leaving, and the challenges I have had have made me wiser, stronger and more compassionate and confident.
A devout Longhorn (that should surprise no one), I graduated from the University of Texas in 1996 and settled permanently in Austin. I don't ever see myself moving back to La Grange, though I still have family that lives in the vicinity. Austin is definitely home. ering consultant firm; I'm a one-woman show, and really like my job and co-workers. I love to travel, and recently returned from a trip to Barcelona, Spain (I am working to get some of those pictures posted on Flickr.com).
I have no children of my own, but I have a nephew I love very much; to me, nothing beats aunthood.
I realize that I may have not been the easiest person to know in high school. However, anyone who writes me will be greeted with a lot more warmth than I may be exhibited then. I hope to hear from you soon.
