Anthony's Story
Life 7 Aug 2002 (Updated 9 Dec 2006; 14 Aug 2007; 31 March 2008)
Greetings with flowers,
As with all of us, I suppose, the saying, ÂMay you be blessed to live an interesting life, fits me. IÂve spanned the breadth of the globe in fine fashion on high and picked stuff with the chickens on low. IÂve touched the Great Pyramid, the Great Wall, flown over the North Pole, touched all continents save one and IÂve cleaned toilets, dug ditches, begged money from strangers and cried myself to sleep from self pity on way too many nights.
It's been over 30 years now, 3+ decades since we danced, laughed and devil-may-cared our way through HS. Edgar Winter, anyone? ÂEvery now and then I know itÂs kind of hard to tell but IÂm still alive and well. Can I get an ÂAmen to that?
Random thoughts as the tears, er years, and laughs go by:
Jerry Noe  I miss you, man. LetÂs play golf until the cart battery dies, again, ok?
Barb Kent  YouÂll always be a Super Star in my eyes.
Caren Ragusa  I hear ÂLayla and IÂm back in that cold, rainy field in West Palm where I watched you dance and clap in knee deep mud to that song as Eric played away.
Royce/Betsy Whittington  IÂve always had great respect and admiration for the both of you. Still driving a Blazer, Royce?
Sheree Plaugher  I still have the QB statue you made for me, y...Expand for more
our half picture as well and I ainÂt lettin Âem go.
Paul Bretton  IÂm sorry for burning a hole in your jacket; still owe you one. And IÂm still in awe of your turn-around fadeaway.
Ted Hess  ÂThey gonna come around with some Puerto Rican girls just dyyyyyyyiiiiinnnn to meet youuuuuuuuuÂ...I always got a kick with the way you sang that line. And, I married one. No kiddin'.
Susie Anderson  Sweet Susie Q - When I hear ÂAngieÂ, it takes me back to the FCA meetings at your house.
Mary Harsh, yeah I still get a whiff of your perfume on occasion.
Joe Smalley  A true manÂs man and a model for all of us men.
Sue Williams, my heart still jumps when I think about the night I delivered your present.
Shannon Mitchell, how come I never saw you after New River?
Steve Brock, the funniest guy who ever lived and married the most beautilful woman, inside and out any man could wish for.
Cathy Casteel, Stranahan's Hope Diamond who gets more polished with time.
I live in Melbourne, FL, as of this update, doing some globe-hopping computer geeky thing, I'm not quite sure, really. I look forward to sipping a frozen pina colada and laughing with all of you whom e-stopped by here at the 35th reunion, Summer 2009.
And, now, for something completely different (Monty Python)....
LDB - The only blazing star in my eternal sky. 'Nuff said....
