Anthony's Story
Life
Well after high school I worked for one year then went to college at NLU for a two years. I found out that was not for we. I left school an went to work for CLECO at the Dolet Hills Power Plant from 1985 to 2000 as an power plant operator. In June of 1991 I got married to a great lady and since have two children. My first an little girl and second my boy an they are one of the best things that have happened to me. I left CLECO in June of 2000 to work for the company Cogentrix based out of North Carolina. lant north of Monroe La. I came to work for them before the plant was finished so I got into alot more of the detailed work of bringing up a new plant. With all that has gone on in my life I have changed alot. Things happen in life that test us all but, I have learned how to deal with them in a much better way.
School
I had a great time in school, I wish I would have taken my education more serious. I enjoy what I do for a living, but I know the road would not have been so hard if my education was better.
College
I wish I had finished.
