Anthony's Story

Hey Ike Grads, Tony Manaia here. After those fun years in high school, I went to work and school at the same time. Ended up with a biz degree from Walsh and went to work for Merrill Lynch in Rochester. After 7 years of that got recrutied by PaineWebber which turned into UBS. Left there in 2003 to form my own firm: Manaia Capital Management, Inc in Bloomfield Hills. Married a Utica cheerleader in 1982 (I shoulda known better) got divorced last year. son Alec who is 13 and goes to Hart in Rochester. Lived in Oakland Twp, she got that house. Fortunately, biz was good and I had two others, one on Lake Angelus (which is awesome in the summer) and the other in Naples, FL. I never went for the big and fancy, I went for the small in the best locales. Anyway, single now, hopping back and forth from MI to FL. If you read this and wanna say HI, please do. Love to hear from old friends. Its been a long time...
