Anton's Story
Life
In 1987 I graduated from Stone Mountain High School after only attending there for two years. Then in 1992 I received a Bachelor of Social Work from Georgia State University. Immediately I went on to the University of Georgia and in 1993 I earned a Master of Social Work. My first job was as a school social worker.
In 1994 I married Charlotte Stapleton, an Agnes Scott alum from Spartanburg, SC.
In 1999 we became a foster parents to a boy we had...Expand for more
hoped to adopt, named Cannon. While this didn't work out, we did adopt our first son in 2000. His name is Jairo, he is Guatemalan and he is precious!
Since 1999 I have served at LaGrange College as Assistant Professor of Human Services and this year was named chair of the department.
Charlotte is currently pregnant and our second child is due sometime around April 3, 2002. We have chosen not to know the sex of the child, but we do have names chosen!
