Anton's Story
After High School, I went into the U.S. Air Force and was trained in Automatic Flight Control Electronics for fighter jets. I was in for four years, with almost two years in Viet Nam. I also spent time in Japan and the Philippine Islands. My last duty assignment was at Rome Air Development Center in Rome, New York. From there, I went to work as an electronic technician for UNIVAC in Utica. I met my first wife, Mary Jean, and was married in 1969. We lived in Frankfort, NY. It was here that I finally got to go to college. In spite of my poor grades in high school, I graduated Cum Laude from SUNY Technical Institute. I received a BS in Computer Science in 1984. o I moved to Massachusetts in 1985 for a position with Motorola as Manager of Regulatory Compliance. From there, I went to Wang Laboratories as manager of Product Safety Engineering. In March 1991, while I was at work, my wife of 22 years died in a car accident. I was lost, but was lucky enough to re-marry in 1993. Sheri and I will be married 20 years in May 2013. We adopted a 22 month old girl from Hungary. She is now 17 and has just finished her Junior year in High school. I now work for Scully Signal Co., as a Sr. Compliance Engineer. We own a 257 year old house that is very big. My hobbies, when I'm not fixing the house, are woodworking, stained glass, ceramics, and computers. Well, this is the short version of my life story, so far. I am looking forward to the reunion.
