Antonio's Story

well after high school i went to deanza college for a year ,then i joined the army..i served for 21 years .i was trained as a weapons specialist and became a green beret with the 5th special forces group at ft.bragg north carolina.then i went to ft.benning ga. to go to ranger school and airborne school .i loved the family i found with my counterparts and loved the feeling of serving our great country as well as fighting for it. ive been in several conflicts and was wounded in combat and was able to come out of it with my heart still beating.i then became a drill instuctor at ft jackson south carolina, then i became a akido instuctor and recieved my 2nd degree black belt. ive never regeted what ive done or became,im retired now and i live in las vegas and happily engaged to a beautiful woman i met 15 years ago..weve been together 15 years and now i think its time to tie that knot.if any of my old class mates remember me i still love art i became pretty successful with my god given talents i have been commisioned to paint for celebrities such as joe montana, jimmy buffet, allen iverson, wayne gretzky sir paul mccartney, dale earnheart jimmie johnson jeff gordon, lisa marie presley and many casinos here in las vegas...when im not painting or teaching art or akido im on my harley riding enjoying life to the fullest i believe seeing combat and seeing death up close made me realize that life is too precious to not enjoy it i live everyday like it ...Expand for more
was my last and i still love to have fun at your local kareoke spots ,and sometimes visit the old stomping ground known as cupertino california... I always wanted to be a ARTIST when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a GREAT idea. As it turns out, they were RIGHT. I RIDE MY MOTORCYCLE OR PAINT OR PLAY GUITAR If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have MUSIC, MUSIC, and MUSIC to be able to deal with the day-to-day. MY DAD ALWAYS BROUGHT ME INSPIRATION AND EVEN THOUGH HES GONE HE STILL BRINGS ME INSPIRATION The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is MELVIN KEYES, because HE TAUGHT ME ABOUT THE LORD... If I could improve my home, I'd remodel THE DEN and add on a GAME ROOM. My dream home would be THE BEST. If I won $100 million, I'd give SOME of it to BREAST CANCER RESEARCH, then spend the rest on MY, FAMILY and FRIENDS. THE 1976 CHAMPIONSHIP DIAMOND BELT FOR BOXING I WON MY GOLDEN GLOVES TROPHIES FOR 77 AND 78 AND OF COURSE MY ARMY CITATIONS AND AWARDS AS WELL AS MY GREEN BERET. In 10 years, I hope to be RID OF ALL MY BAD MEMORIES OF WAR AND LOSS OF COMRADS I LOST IN COMBAT. I'm going to get there by PRAYER AND FAITH. My first job was at MONTA VISTA MARKET, where I got paid 185.00 A WEEK to CUT MEAT AND CARRY SIDES TO BEEF TO THE COOLER. What I remember most about it is I WOULD WAIT ON LOVLEY WOMEN AND LEARNED WHAT WOMEN LIKED. LEARNING TO SURF AT AGE 12 AT SANTA CRUZ AND HALF MOON BAY CA,
