April's Story
Life
After high school I went to UAF for a few years but dropped out to join the Army. I spent five years living all over the place but had had enough. I got out, moved to Reno, Nev. and have been here ever since.
I've been married to Cotter Conway for eight years. We have a son, Hayden (3/17/03), who's nearly six and a daughter, Regan (1/12/06), who's three.
After moving to Reno I went back to school, earning a BA in journalism and an MBA. I work as a public information officer for the Nevada National Guard...Expand for more
. It's a great job and affords me lots of travel opportunites.
Singly and with my husband I've traveled extensively, visiting or living on all seven continents. We still like to travel, but it's getting harder to pawn off two kids on my parents or in-laws to take big trips. For the forseeable future we're probably relegated to North America.
When my parents retired they moved to Reno, too, so it's nice having them close by. My brother Anthony (class of '87) lives in Phoenix, so he isn't too far away, either.
