April's Story
After high school, I worked, partied, and didn't do a whole lot. At about 23 I realized I'd better get on the ball if I was going to ever be able to move out of my parents' house. So, I went to UTSA, got my BA in English, and started teaching. I went back to UTSA and got my MA is Education.
In 2000, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior!

erful man and became stepmother to an awesome little girl!
In 2003, my son was born.
In 2004, we moved to Boron, California (my husband's home town), which is near Edwards Air Force Base and in the middle of the Mojave Desert.
In 2006, my daughter was born.
We still live in the California high desert. I still teach. My family is healthy, happy, and thriving! Life is good!
