April's Story

I am still here in Dowagiac. I don't think I will ever move away. It is home! I have two great children. My son was born in May 1995 and my daughter in June 1997 they are my inspiration and greatest accomplishment. I have worked for my tribe the Pokagon Band since August of 2002 in our Housing Department, as the Administrative Assistant but now find myself going in a different direction and going back to school. e, 14 year relationship. He is a wonderful father and a great friend but do to events in our lives I have chose to be separated but to be best friends and remain in each other lives. I couldn't ask for much more. He is truly a very special part of my life I will always cherish. Other then my children the best thing that has happen to me is my wonderful boyfriend. We dated about 20 years ago and have started dating again. He is my heart and my soul!
