April's Story
Been very busy. I have 2 children. I was voted the oldest parent at the 10 yr reunion though I know people we graduated with have children older than my daughter LOL! I had her at 22. I have been married 3 times. I have 2 children one each from my previous marriages and though the marriages failed my children are absolutely worth the pain and heartache I experienced in both relationships. I married for the last and final time in June of 2014 to my best friend Doug Miller. We have been friends for close to 20 years and well the 3rd time is a charm. He is wonderful to me and my kids.

I have a son who is now 18 yrs old and just graduated from HS. Hard to believe. We talk about HS and it feels so strange how things have changed and I wouldn't say for the better? But he is a big kid. Almost 6'5 and 200 lbs so he held his own. No garbage cans for that kid. LOL!
I went back to college and completed my degree in my 30's. Better late than never. I completed a degree in Social Work and worked for the local county in social services for 10 years until my health would no longer allow me too. I do some volunteer work with adults and children with Special Needs through Special Olympics and other non-profits. I wanted a way to give back. Working for the county there is so much red tape it was hard to really help people the way I wanted to.
I am looking forward to reconnecting with some of you here.
