Greetings from the Pacific Northwest. I've relocated from the Washington Coast to Seattle in 2001. Widowed twice now (2000 & 2007), but still not afraid to love like I've never been hurt. My immediate family remains in Michigan, although my new families are scattered from the Hawaiian & Marshall Islands to Portugal and places in between like Texas (yes, a world unto it's own) and 'Bama. Perhaps when the climate changes back there to a more moderate swing I'll consider moving back. We don't shovel rain out here.

my field of Quality Assurance in the aerospace industry. Somehow serving the greater good through reliable things just doesn't outweigh the vividness of life away from the office. It's great to know that my profession has helped bring some accountabilty to education and healthcare systems in the past few years. Widgets to white coats - Quality is there.
Still tinkering with my artwork, perhaps more of a therapeutic release - only cheaper, until I need to buy supplies. The Puget Sound is beautiful and offers much for subject matter.
