Ardythe Price:  

Life I attended Walla Walla Academy in College Place, WA. I was there 4 yrs and graduated 1965. We had our 40th reunion in 2005. After I attended Lane Community College in Springfield.Ore. I went to Walla Walla College for one year of pre-nursing. Attended Loma Linda University in l967 and got capped. I was out one year. I came back and went to La Sierra Univ with a major of psychology. In 1970 I was accepted into the nursing program at Pacific Union College. I graduated in 1972 with an AS degree in nursing. I took the boards and became an RN. I continued my education at La Sierra University 1972-73 with a BA degree in English. I had married John Price the winter semester before graduation. We married in Modesto, CA but continued to live in Riverside, CA. I worked at two different jobs and had my first child, daughter Shelley. The next year we moved to student housing in San Jose. Our son, Steven was born there in 1976. Shortly after John's graduation from San Jose State, we moved to a deluxe 4 bdr home in the foothills. I had worked for Agnews State Hospital from 1974-1980 as a registered nurse. I then was employed by Kaiser hospital in the ICU three days a week. John and I both enjoyed golfing, bowling and tending to the house and yard. We had a patio big enough to have birthday -parties and barbeques. It was all covered and we had a picnic table and patio furniture. Later John and I went on our first cruise to the Panama Canal and Acapulco. I was active as a member of the San Jose Seventh-day Adventist Church. We also went to the Civic Light Opera shows. In 1991 we sold our home and moved to Yuba City, CA. I had been ill and was not working regularly. I had also been working in several hospitals with Staffbuilders Registry. In Yuba City we rented a spacious, gorgeous home.
