Ariana's Story
Life
I suppose I had better start not at the beginning, but the middle. When I turned 40 I became a completely different person. I took up yoga and changed my eating and exercise habits. I changed how I view myself and the universe. I went from 264 pounds to 158. To celebrate this transformation I changed my name from Katherine (Kathy) Gorman Chung to Ariana Estariel.
Now I have become Who I Am and am enjoying life more than I can express. Here is a bit of a stream of consciousness insight into that process:
Light, laughter and love. Do it now. It just is. Never go back. Always in joy. Emptiness is fullness; fullness is emptiness. With eight limbs I wander upon an eightfold (times a lemniscate) path of my own creation that defies description. I am part of the All That Is.
So are you.

d more of me now.
Who are you? What do you want? Where are you going? Tell me your story I would love listen.
Workplace
I worked in fast food for 12 years (no college degree can have that effect) and decided I needed to move on. Within several months, a woman walked into the Roy Rogers, offered me a job making 50% more and I was on my way.
From receptionist with David S. Brown Enterprises (in Baltimore), to librarian assistant with a contracting firm working for the US Navy (in Northern Virginia), and finally to a deputy clerk and now statistical analyst for the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation, a statutory federal court two blocks from the U.S. Capitol, I am doing better than I had ever hoped in one of the most rewarding jobs I could imagine.
I am blessed and grateful. Life is good, but I worked hard for it, leveraging my experience in lieu of a college degree.
