Arleen's Story
Three years of HS in three states. Yikes. It's hard to remember everyone (or anyone on some days) LOL. I grew up in Concord and had many friends there from Conant and Rumford Schools, then junior high and sophomore year of high school. My family moved to Phoenix where I attended Washington my Junior year. I made many new friends there as well, but before the senior year started, we moved to Las Vegas. I lost momentum in making friends there, but I remember quite a few of you. In 1975, I moved to Colorado and lived there until 2013.
Help me remember more of you, Concord, Washington, and Las Vegas High grads. I'm what you call a generalist. I graduated from the University of Colorado with a Biology degree, but I've been all over ...Expand for more
and done a lot of things from fashion modeling to 21 years as an analyst for the US Government Accountability Office. After "retiring" I became a jewelry designer and a home decor shop owner.
But now, the grand finale! I've published five novels in a series and I'm working on the sixth. They are the Darcy Farthing adventures. I'm so excited about this and spend much of my time marketing the books and traveling (cruising and using the locations in the books). I live with my husband Tim in Southwest Florida. My two sons are doing great with their lives, but no grandchildren. Oh well, more time to write. You can check out my books almost anywhere on line. They are available on Kindle and nook too. I'd love to hear from you.
