Arlene's Story
I live in Cape Coral, Florida - a city full of canals (both salt-water and fresh-water). We have been here for five years and absolutely love it, especially in winter when it is snowing up north.
I have been married for thirty-three years and the grandmother of seven. Unfortunately, six of them live in other states(Kansas, Texas, and Ohio).
I had my own business for over fourteen years that I was able to run out...Expand for more
of my home. Unfortunately for me, the work/need is no longer there therefore; I am semi-retired for now.
One of the best things about living in Florida is that I can be as active as I want to be all year round. I walk early in the mornings and ride my bike. I believe being active will help keep my mind going.
Maybe now at this stage of my life I can try to figure out what I want to be or do when I grow up.
