Arlis Barnes Minter
Born Loomis, Ca, 1930
Moved to Bakersfield with parents in 1936. Attended Jefferson, Horace Mann, grade schools, Washington Jr. High and East Bakersfield High School. Graduated 1948.
Married to Dennis L. Minter 1947. Had three children, eight grandchildren, now eight Great grandchildren.
Have lived in Pine Bluff, Arkansas since August 1975.
Lived in Bakersfield, North Highlands, Ca., San FRancisco,Ca. Roy, Utah(Ogden area) and then we were moved to Pine Bluff above date.
One daugher living here in PB also, and one of her daughters and family also live here.
In addition to music my interests include gardening, reading, church membership not necessarily in that order. I am a Member of Jefferson County Master Gardeners, Central Arkansas Rose Society,ARS member, Teach my Sunday School Class one Sunday a month. Attend Bible Study each week.Church every Sunday I can.
Enjoy participating in the events provided for residents of my Trinity Village Community which is where we moved after selling our last home. There are many activities provided here for us to take part in and enjoy.

Still living at Trinity Village retirement Community, Pine Bluff, AR. Lost my Mother in 2012. Her funeral so close to Thanksgiving that I wasn't able to attend. Went out this past May to pay my respects and visit with my brother and sister and a couple of close friends. So very sorry that we have lost another member of our class just last week. I'm not sure f he date that has beeen selected for this gathering, but I have a planned left knee replacement this Nov.21st. Also one last drive up to Kansas 'City to see our son Mike and his extended family. Will go just before Halloween so I can see the two great grandsons there go Trick or Treating. There will be additions to the Great Grands this Dec. and also next Spring. Presently the count is nine. Two more will make it eleven. I grieve that my husband has missed all the little ones born after he passed away.
I continue to stay as busy as possible, but have slowed down lots in the past two months. Had mever fallen before that, but have taken several times recently. Fortunately no thing broken. Just bruised pride and knees.
