You may not recall but I never graduated from Camelback. I dropped out (was kicked out) in 1967, joined the Coast Guard at 17 (it was the only branch my parents would sign for and I am grateful they were smarter then me) to get away from home.

I got my first BA in Geography with an emphasis on Urban Design from NAU. n America for a year, taught in Camp Verde, met my future wife, moved to Oregon, got a MA degree in Applied linguistics, taught HS Spanish, and College linguistics for 27 years and retired,
Then I got a job consulting for the American Council on the teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) in 2007 and after 10 years, just last week, retired.
Now it's time to get back to camping and hiking and stop flitting around on airplanes for work.
My wife and I have traveled a good deal throughout Latin America, living and studying for years in Mexico and Chile. We use miles to get to Europe every other year and those miles are going to used up after the next trip.
So, here I am, in Ashland, Oregon, enjoying the good life. I might come to the 50 year reunion. We''ll see.
