My Spouse
I put a personal ad in the Arizona Republic newspaper on a dare from my new sister-in-law and he was one of my "admirers". We talked on the phone for 6 weeks before our first date. He even ordered flowers for me for Valentine's Day before we ever had our first date! We got married 4 and 1/2 months later on a riverboat in Laughlin, Nevada at sunset. The same boat my brother Jeff and his wife were married on almost exactly to the day 9 months before!
My Pets
I have a bichon frise (dog) that thinks he's a person. Curley, our cat, gets his name from the crook in his tail. He and the dog get along fabulously (really!). And we have two lovebirds which both the cat and dog would love to have for dinner!!!
My Kids
I have two boys, 16 and 6. My eldest, Winton, is from my husband's first marriag...Expand for more
e although if you ask him I'm his mom. Winton's favorite hobby right now is video games and anything James Bond. My little one, Logan, is as cute as a bug, all boy, and a little smarty pants! He loves anything to do with balls (basketball, baseball, and football). He'll definitely be a sports nut like his daddy. I love him to death and being a mom is the greatest thing I've ever had the privilege to do. I am thankful that my son was born later in my life because I don't think I would have marvelled at all the little daily changes like I do now. And God has granted me more patience although I could still use another truckload!
My Job
My job is the greatest! I am a finacial aid specialist for a world renowned graduate business school. The students are interesting and the people I work with are the greatest.
