Arsine's Story

Life Since graduating I have worked for a labor union where I handled all of the health, welfare and pension problems for the over 6,000 members; was a legal secretary, legal assistant; volunteer emt/paramedic assistant for a local all volunteer squad in Tuckerton and paid emt for Atlantic City's street ems provider and then one of the five paid on-staff emt's at the Sands Hotel & Casino (this was the job I loved the most). Leaving the Sands I went to work for Trump Castle which changed to Trump Marina as one of it's Casino Security officers. Yes, I carried handcuffs and excelled at takedowns - lol. I met so many really nice patrons and regulars that this job was actually as enjoyable as the job at the Sands where I also helped people, just in a different manner. An auto accident took this career from me in February 2002 and have undergone a dual level back fusion in September 2002 which failed. Now, permanently disabled I am home mostly. I always wanted to be an Archaeologist Egyptologist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a really stupid idea. As it turns out, they were wrong because I remain interested in Archaeology and Egyptology to this day although I never took official courses. If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to charities using the money to No Kid Hungry as children in our country are often without the proper nourishment which is heinous, as well as to Heifer.com and water to women in third world countries. The rest? A home close to my daughter and grandson, and squirrel the rest in legitimate investments. My ideal home would be large enough for me to feel comfortable with plenty of skylights bringing all natural light inside, a huge attic space that can be converted to my "sacred space" where nobody but me would have access, an inground pool either out back or indoors so that I can exercise my muscles year-round. The kitchen would have rafters from which my fresh...Expand for more
-dried spices and herbs could hang and there would be a feeling of warmth and family throughout the home. Alternatively, I'd be grateful to have a home large enough where I could fulfill my desire to help abused mothers with children and be a "Safe House" where she could come to and get herself and her children out of an abusive/violent home. Most abused women with children stay with their abusers because they have no place to go and are afraid to leave. Empowering these women and helping them regain self-confidence would put them on the path to breaking a cycle of abuse. I have been blessed these last two years not financially but spiritually while handcrafting custom jewelry for my customers. It is wonderful taking gemstones/semi-precious beads and wire and crafting it all into a work of art from scratch. A lot of love goes into each piece and never once did I ever think I'd become a crafter, lol. Years ago I rode Hunters/Jumpers on the show circuit as well as showed my Rottweilers and my English Pointer in AKC shows. Most recently I found the true love of my life on an internet dating site and he is wonderful, handsome, european, a very successful architect who was also a top private corporate chef (ladies....a gorgeous man who is successful and also can cook...yep, all mine, lol). He has brought to my liffe a whole new meaning as to the word love and with each successive day it seems this love between the two of us grows even more. Our two hearts beat with one old soul and I feel deeply that the two of us have loved each other through many past lives and this is the lifetime where we get our happily to the end of our days together. As for me, I'm still quirky, petite and so much cuter than I was in high school where I really felt out of place but made many good friends. That's me. I am the happiest woman in the universe and looking back to my high school years, life now is what I dreamed of.
