Arthur's Story
A long story with many twists and turns... of course, I was no good in high school, and afterwards spent 2 years finding myself... when I did, I found I was lost. Joined the Navy and that took me many places and I learned many things.... Submarine service... those combined with school after the Navy and then many nights and weekends I wound up with my Bachelors degree and an engineering job. I worked for Hughes Aircraft for a while, then spent 24 years working many interesting projects at The Johns Hopkins University/Applied Physics Laboratory. Dur...Expand for more
ing those 24 years I earned my Masters at Johns Hopkins. After retiring from there, I took a position as an Engineer for the Department of the Navy for 7 years and then retired from there. At the end of January 2016 I retired from the Navy and my wife Winnie and I moved to our retirement home in Central Florida (Sebring). I never thought I would move back to Florida, but, never say never. I have been blessed, seen and done amazing things that would have never been predicted by those that saw me in high school. Now I am moving on to the next phase.
